The Ballerina shape beautifully slims the nails. The tapered sides can visually slim a wider nail plate, giving the finished styling a light and well-proportioned look.

The tip can also be shortened and filed to change its final shape, for example into an almond.

How to use

1. Prepare the natural nail plate as usual and get it ready properly.
2. Match the correct tip size to the width of the natural nail.
3. Apply your chosen bonding product to the marked pocket area - classic nail tip glue, a suitable base coat or UV/LED glue.
4. Press the tip onto the natural nail plate and hold in place until the product sets.
5. If using UV/LED glue or base coat, pre-cure with a UV/LED lamp while holding the tip firmly in place. Then cure the product according to the manufacturer's instructions.
6. Shorten the tip to the desired length using tip clippers and, if needed, gently file it into the desired shape.
7. If you're using a primer, apply it to the natural nail plate, avoiding the surface of the tip.
8. Apply the base coat - at this stage you can also apply it to the tip - and cure.
9. Then build the nail using builder gel, polygel or builder base, working with your usual technique.
