This nail drill bit is designed for removing gel polish, gel and polygel, including close to the cuticles. It also works great for filing down the underside of the nail.
Shape: cylinder
Tungsten carbide nail drill bits are among the hardest types of drill bits available. They significantly reduce working time. The cutting flutes are designed to prevent the bit from clogging.
Grit levels: Nail drill bits usually have coloured stripes indicating their grit, and therefore their intended use.
Black – extra coarse bit - for removing acrylic, gel and polygel.
Green – coarse bit - for removing acrylic, gel and polygel.
Blue – medium bit - for removing gel polish and smoothing the surface of gel and polygel nails.
Red – fine bit – for removing gel polish (colour) and smoothing gel and polygel surfaces.
Yellow – extra fine bit – for removing gel polish and shaping builder bases.
Nail drill bits without markings are universal bits.
Choosing the perfect nail drill bit isn't easy. When looking for the right one, ask yourself what you'll be using it for. As mentioned above, one bit won't be enough for everything. It's best to put together a set or buy a ready-made one. If you're a beginner nail technician, we recommend choosing a bit with a red band. It will let you work safely while you develop your feel and control over the drill.
